I had a look at Bowling Green Marsh first thing this morning but it was dead and all I saw were 2 Common Chiffchaff , 7 Goldcrest and numerous Black-Tailed Godwit .
So I went to take a look at the new scrapes at Matford Marsh , they look quite good but there is nowhere really to look in from , but I saw 12 Black-Tailed Godwit , 2 British Pied Wagtail , a juvenile Yellow Wagtail , a Great Spotted Woodpecker , 2 Meadow Pipit , a Common Chiffchaff , 4 Goldcrest and a Eurasian Bullfinch so not a bad start .
